Fight Time Promotions is a full service professional sports entertainment family-owned company founded by 1976 Olympic Boxing Gold Medalist Howard Davis Jr. and his wife and former journalist, Karla Guadamuz-Davis. After a year of developing the company's name and concept, Fight Time Promotions launched its "Fight Time" series in August 2010.
Karla grew up in Miami-Florida and graduated from the University of Miami with a degree in Communications and Political Science. She was a journalist for 15 years at South Florida television and radio stations as well as major news publications. In 2007, Karla launched her own marketing and public relations firm, KGC Marketing Team, and also managed professional boxers.
Once Howard and Karla combined their ideas and resources, Fight Time Promotions quickly became one of the most recognized promotional companies in the Southeast. This family-owned business continued to strive to make a difference in the industry through integrity, consistency and uniqueness.
In 2011, Fight Time Promotions held more shows than any other fight promoter in the State of Florida, and Fight Time Promotions' pro MMA fights are featured in millions of television households. The "Fight Time" series takes place 5 times a year in South Florida at the historic War Memorial Auditorium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
